Domestic Reverse Charge

From 1 October 2020, the Domestic Reverse Charge for VAT in the Construction Industry came into effect. This anti-fraud measure effectively removed the VAT from construction sub-contract supply chains, having a significant cash-flow impact on certain types of businesses.

We are excited to announce that we will introduce some exciting new services later this year to ensure your workforce does not suffer as a result of these changes in legislation.

CITB Levy

If you operate a company within the construction industry, it's essential to understand how the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the CITB Levy could impact your business. Depending on the size of your operation, you could find yourself hit with a bill for tens of thousands of pounds every year.

Not sure about the CITB Levy and whether you fall under it? Our team of in-house experts can help you understand your business and responsibilities so that you can remove the risk of any unexpected costs.

Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)

Under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), contractors deduct money from a subcontractor’s payments and pass it to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

The deductions count as advance payments towards the subcontractor’s tax and National Insurance.

Contractors must register for the scheme.

Risk & Compliance

As specialists in the contractor market, we recognise, advise and reduce the financial risks that might impact your business, so you can have the freedom to focus on increasing your bottom-line profits.

We'll put together a risk register and rank the potential impact. This will help you to make smart decisions about how to deal with them.

Our strict underwriting policy, combined with our insurance-backed underwriting guarantee, will help you to mitigate any potential risks.

Supervision, Direction & Control

Supervision, Direction and Control (SDC) is a method of working out the employment status of somebody following HMRC guidance.

It was introduced in April 2016 following a consultation on the Onsore Employment Intermediaries legislation – Otherwise known as 'false self-employment'.

We can help you assess your workforce and understand whether you're exposed to the potential risks that self-employment presents.

Easy onboarding for your subcontractors

We'll provide all the dual-branded marketing material and personnel to support the continued communications.

All IN-SYNC documents are completed electronically. On average, we sign up your drivers in 4 minutes.
